A. Chester Skinner, III (Chip) brings over 35 years of real estate experience to Skinner Bros. Realty. As a principal for 17 years with Regency Centers, a publicly traded REIT, Mr. Skinner was responsible for development and leasing of corporate office, industrial and retail projects.
Since establishing Skinner Bros. Realty, Mr. Skinner has developed large multi-use Developments of Regional Impact, as well as completed multiple build-to-suit leaseback transactions with financial institutions and retailers.
Mr. Skinner holds the National Realtors CCIM designation and is past chair of the North Florida Chapter of NAIOP. He currently sits on the Board of Consolidated Tomoka Land Company, a publicly traded real estate company.
In May, 2008, A. Chester Skinner, IV (Chet) joined the company after spending 3 years with Pulte Homes as the Director of the Land Acquistion, Entitlements and Strategic Marketing departments. Prior to working with Pulte, Chet was the head of Real Estate for a Whataburger franchise that opened 22 restaurants from Jacksonville to Tampa in less than a 2 year span.
For the past two years, Chet has served on the Executive Board of the Northeast Florida Builders Association, currently serving as its 2nd Vice President. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Coaches Honor. Chet attended Sewanee University, where he played basketball from 1998-2001, and graduated with a B.A. in Economics.
